Hi everyone, welcome to my blog.

Let me introduce myself, my name is Jon Allmark. I am a life long fitness fanatic, who has years of successful (and not so successful!) training experience behind me.

I’ve made countless mistakes in my training over the years. I’ve tried every one of the latest workout and diet fad’s, none of which worked, many of which left me in worse shape than when I started! I remember following a workout and diet plan that promised me I’d gain 14lbs of muscle in 6 weeks. I gained 14lbs alright, unfortunately most of it was around my waist! I’ve also tried to get ripped through extreme diet and training routines, that have shredded pounds of muscle off me and still left me with fat!  

I was sick of spending more money than I like to think about on magazines, books, ‘wonder pills’, and all sorts of products which were supposed to short cut the fat loss and muscle gaining process, leaving you with your perfect body. Instead you are left frustrated and no closer to your goals.

Eventually I had enough and decided that I was going to find out the true answers, how to really get into great shape. For years now through trial and error, research and alot of hard work, I have managed to strip away all the lies and myths largely put in place by multi million dollar supplement companies and companies trying to sell you the latest exercise device. All of which are trying to make as much money out of you as possible, and have no interest in whether you get the results you want or not. So long as they are continuing to increase their profit margins, in what has become a billion dollar industry, they don’t care!

That is why I have started this blog. I aim to make this site as a place for like minded people to get answers to any questions they may have on fat loss, muscle building, diet and fitness. To share with you all the true facts that I have researched, and methods of training that I have personally tried and tested over the years, that do actually get results. Also to dispell all the myths and bad training advice and tactics that are out there.

So once again welcome to my blog, I hope that you find information here which helps you achieve your goals. Whether that be to get a ripped, build muscle or just get into better shape. If you can’t find the answer to any question at all on the subject please post a question, or send email me at jallmark@fatlossandmusclebuilding.com and i will do my up most to either answer it myself or if I can’t answer it personally I will research it and post a response for you.
